When you place an order, we collect and store:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• The shipping address you enter at checkout.
• What you ordered, what it cost and when.
• A reference number from our payment provider, so we can match a payment to your order.

Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary server logs, which include your IP address and browser, to keep the site running and to stop abuse.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking scripts on this site. There is no mailing list, so we will not email you anything other than about an order you placed.

Payment is handled on PayPal’s own secure checkout page. Your card number never reaches our servers and we never store it. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded, along with a reference number.

• Your shopping cart is saved in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a refresh. It stays on your device until you check out or clear it.
• A session cookie is used to keep our own staff signed in to the admin area. It is never set for shoppers.

No advertising or analytics cookies are set by this site.

We share only what each of these needs to do its job:

• PayPal processes payments and receives your name, email, phone, address and order total.
• Google Maps supplies the map in our footer. Loading it tells Google your IP address and that you visited this page.
• Our image and hosting providers serve the product photos and the site itself, and receive your IP address as part of that.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We will disclose it if the law requires us to, for example in response to a valid court order.

We use your information to take payment, ship your order, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and keep the accounting and tax records Canadian law requires of us. We only ever use it for those purposes.

Order records are kept for at least six years, because tax law requires it. Beyond that we delete or anonymise information we no longer need.

Our database and hosting may be located outside Quebec, and PayPal processes payments outside Canada. That means your information may be stored or handled in another country and be subject to its laws.

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that’s wrong.
• Delete it, so far as we’re not required to keep it for tax or accounting.
• Stop using it, where we have no legal obligation to continue.

Email info@multivisions.net and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This store sells printer supplies to businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

If our practices change, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
